ZEE Cine Awards 2020: Winners list
Zee Cine Awards is back! The prestigious award show will have the who’s who of the Bollywood fraternity come together and look back at the year gone by for Indian cinema and honour the most deserving. The Zee Cine Awards 2020 took place in Mumbai on Friday (March 13) without the general public.
Ranveer Singh and Taapsee Pannu won the best actor and best actress Zee Cine award. Ranveer Singh won the award for Best Actor for ‘Gully Boy’ while Taapsee Pannu bagged the best actress award for ‘Badla’. Kartik Aaryan won the trophy for Best Actor in a Comic Role for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’.

Due to coronavirus scare, the award ceremony was held in Mumbai but without any audience.
A statement issued by Zee TV and Zee Cinema reads, “As a measure of precaution on account of the continuing concern over the Covid-19, the ceremony for Zee’s annual film awards property – Zee Cine Awards 2020 stands cancelled for general public to avoid mass gatherings. Instead, the awards will now be shot as a televised event. We would like to assure the fans who had purchased tickets for the event through our associates and partners that they will be refunded at the earliest. Our viewers and fans can now look forward to catching their favourite Bollywood celebrities during the telecast on March 28 on Zee TV and Zee Cinema. Additionally, viewers can also catch these awards before tv on Zee5.”
Zee Cine Awards 2020 will air on Zee TV and Zee Cinema on March 28 at 7:30pm.
