Asin Biography: Asin is an Indian Film Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam actress. She was born on 26 October 1985 in Cochin, Kerala, India to Joseph Thottumkal, an Ex-CBI officer and Seline Thottumkal, a surgeon. Her full name is Asin Thottumkal. She has received three Filmfare Awards. She began her acting career in the film industry in South India, before focusing on Bollywood. Asin made her lead role Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthn Vaka (2001), her Hindi Film Ready (2011) and her Tamil Film M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004) & Tollywood Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi (2003). apart from films, Asin has been referred to as the “Queen of Kollywood” by online portals in 2007. She is a member of the Bollywood 100 Crore Club.
